I was going to get tickets over the weekend but I didn't realize they stopped selling on the 20th. I e-mailed them yesterday to see if anything could be done but I haven't heard back.

Good luck, they made me get a written letter from the Ice and Fire Con creators when I used their logo for the official t-shirt.

I think I'm probably going to cancel this year. I tried to convince the wife to come up with me and then the three of us could enjoy some of the stuff around the lake as well but she wasn't into it. Felt like a waste to get a whole room just for myself. I already have the time off from work though s...

I'm always glad and usually excited to have a new person on, especially someone who has devoted so much time to the fandom and is obviously so passionate about the books and show as TDD is. I was with you at the beginning of your valid criticisms in regards to what D&D have done in going off-pa...

George's blog post clearly being meant to get people talking and then his follow implying it was crazy for people to think something was going on.

Do only highborn partake in "making the eight"?

A lot of the SDCC panels on anime are small and you don't have to be a complete expert if it's on a more general topic. If you pick a specific anime, especially a popular one, that might be harder. The nice part is that in a small room people seem more relaxed. Probably because they didnt wait hours...

They don't get many visitors and no one from outside the Iron Islands is going to be poking around taking a count of ships. It's basically just traders and as long as your trade harbors don't l...

I've only missed 2 years in the past decade but this year I couldn't get badges again. I might still make the trip to visit my family and take part in the off site Con stuff but I'm not sure now.

Sadly I struck out trying to get badges this year. I'll still be there on vacation to visit family but unless they do a badge resell I won't be able to go to Con. I miss when it was easy to go every year.

I wonder what will happen if they decide to send Gregor's head to the Martells next season. Whose head will get attached to Gregor's body? Show watchers will lose their minds... I thought the theory was that Gregor's head may very well have stayed attached to his body and they sent the head of that...
