Okay so I did a trial run of some food for the Cockneymoot. Honey chicken which was excellent, bacon and beans, buttered carrots and Highgarden pears poached in wine. The pears were amazing, really good balance of saffron, honey, wine and cinnamon. So, defo on the list for April!

I reckon whatever you like as there will be dishes that pair well with white and red plus a good house supply of mulled red and pear brandy. The only thing we don't really stock is beer although I've been trying to source some mead!

Update on the T-Shirt !

I've come up with a simple design but due to space constraints and the fact that I changed my mind several times in the process I scrapped the date and name idea, this is what I've come up with:



as for cost - until I know how many people are actually going to pay the cost for each shirt stands at this:



The style of the shirt can be changed but as a top heavy kinda gal v-necks are my preference, but I can also get standard t-shirts as well, sizes go up to XXL - mens and womens - I think the white is striking but again different colours are avalable.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Dare I say, critisisms?

the front looks good. would it be possible to not have it on a v-neck, but just a regular white tee? also instead of "im a wildling" how about "House Manwoody"

Individual shirts can be with different styles, it might even be cheaper but I just showed the one I will be usung for myself but I did say I can get the same stuff printed onto different styles

as for 'House Manwoody' I can add it to the back under the 'I'm a wildling' (on the forum I am a wildling) but it can be whatever that person has in their forum profile, also I am NOT ordering more than what people pay for, I'll refund any overpayment if I get enough orders to get a discount, but as it stands each shirt will be £21.50 and I'll distribute them at the meet up :)

Yeah, we gave the go ahead for a shirt sold at price privately for a specific event like this to people who will attend it. We would like to be the ones to handle and sell any generic podcast fans shirt available publicly online. We will take email submissions of shirt ideas or even graphics if you wish, but we would like to host the sale on our site on our podcast store (the podcast store tab should be coming out this month or next).

I am still tweakiing the design for the shirt but if I get enough positive feedback I might submit it for consideration (but if I'm honest, I don't have an accent and I predict the shirt will most likey be done by Jesicka as the podcast artist)

Edit: I've just ordered mine as a sort of tester - to see how the grafic came out - only change I made was I added the date of the S3 premier on the sleeve - this was never really meant to be anythng other than a silly one off thing for myself a maybe a couple of the London MeetUp fans

I chose to put the web address as even tho it's my own creation, it is my way of supporting the podcast and hopefully letting strangers know where to find this wonderous podcast (for those not on itunes like me - I'll save my rant against the whole apple empire for another day)

Guys - bad news! I have to be in LA for the first two weeks of April which of course includes the Game of Thrones s3 premiere so I can't host the Feast of Ice and Fire/ Cockeymoot 2/season premiere rewatch. Maybe we can do a Feast/Red Wedding rewatch instead? I'm totally gutted - I strained my Tyroshi pear brandy yesterday evening and it's nicely maturing - so we definitely need to set a date to drink it!

I guess I have to find me a LA premiere party instead.....
