I think we are all aware that the earliest episodes are often very low in quality and even less edited than our later versions; we don't have them as easy to download as the rest and don't promote them, but they are still there for anyone who really wants to listen. Therefore, perhaps not every cringeworthy comment need be analyzed with the full spotlight 5+ years later. I think you've struck a good balance so far.
