Dear Podcast-Team,

I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you did for us, your listeners. You managed to produce as many episodes in 2011 as in all the years before together. Thank you very much, I wish all of you (and all other listeners) a Happy New Year and all the best for 2012. I hope 2012 will see a lot of new episodes and other great content at the APOIAF-page.

Keep up the great work!

Yours,
Brynden

Thanks everyone. Happy New Year!

Larry is on board to do at least one tv recap episode with us. Probably another after the last episode.

I really like Larry, I think he is charismatic and it's always nice to her from a person reading/watching for the first time. But that's the problem, it's his first time. I kind of think it takes away from the podcast a very little bit when you can't talk about what's going to happen and how the most recent episode has set it up.

I think the first episode with Larry was the best one because y'all split the episode in half with a non-spoiler part with Larry, and then went back in to talk a bit more with full spoilers. So when he comes back, I hope you do the same again.

It also wish to thank you all for this year and I hope 2012 is even better!

I agree, sometimes two great tastes do not taste great together.
Larry's episode reviews are great but once or twice per season is enough on the podcast.

it was suggested to me once that larry and i should do a GOT podcast together, just the two of us.

i couldn't imagine anything less pleasant to listen to.

other than nickelback.

To be clear for the record, you think Watchmen sucks and Nickleback is great.

I was thinking the same thing. It would start out about GoT and then they would just go off about pokemon about 5 minutes in and never look back.

A friend of mine likes to joke that if you sang "Nickelback" in a monotone, gritty voice over and over again, you'd sound exactly like Nickelback.

i'm a bit too old to have ever gotten into pokemon, but that larry vs mimi pokemon moment was one of favorites podcast moments OF ALL TIME!! from the caterpee (wormswood bitch!), to the weedle (sp?), to the accusations of cheating(whats a dertreeni candy?), to the questioning of master pokemon validity (larry gave a prompt yes), to the ultimate brag of larry evolving all his pokemon followed by the prompt 'thats bullshit' by mimi................

fucking classic.

the only pokemon i know is pikachu, but i would stop everything and listen to those two argue about pokemon all day.

I read this post title in Bilbo Baggin's voice.

I regret nothing.
