Hi guys,
I just wanted to ask what you will cover in Ep82 - and if you need any inputs from your passionate listeners...
And maybe you already know when we can expect the next installment.

Great to hear that Mimi is on board again (at least for this episode).

Great episode, it was really awesome to hear you guys get back into the book series. MIMI!!! Watch the TV series already! There is so much hilarity you're missing out on, what with ducksauce etc?? Really enjoyed it, though I'm a bit miffed it was only an hour. What will I do for the rest of my workday?!?

Good Episode, good to have Mimi back.
Didn't feel like the interpretation/portrayal of Qhorin was that bad just needed more time with him instead of Ygritte.

I am a big fan of the more general episodes that focus on the series/books/themes as a whole instead of zeroing in on specific chapters. S'just my thing though. Total IMHO

Total IMHO We need to have some sort of objective/focusing going into each recording. It's too difficult to just go into it after 82 episodes and talk about just "the series." Haha. Besides we ramble and get off topic so much it's as if we don't have an objective anyway. Haha. These two chapters were just pretty boring though. Not much happened.

Just started to listen and will answer directly to mimi's question - comments will be edited in that post later.
- Up to that point 66 different persons appeared on the podcast. - the record is now 18(!) persons on episode 80.

Amin, I know you haven't seen The Live Action Movie That Shall Not Be Named, but MNS changed Iroh's name to "EEEE-roh" Looking forward to more chapter rereads! (I can't believe Ashley thought Jeor took the black in Jorah's place. ) Dany spends a lot of chronological time in Vaes Tolerro, so that probably contributes to the feeling that there was more to it than that one chapter, in addition to the painstaking detail...

It was delightful having Mimi back on the podcast. I am almost thankful she hasn't watched Season 2 yet, because there will no doubt be many a table flipped.

Great episode! Nice to have the team all back together. I, for one, am glad to be getting back to the chapter summary and discussions. It is refreshing to go back to the source material.
It is funny that the BR=MR (Bloodraven=Mormonts's Raven) theory was metioned. It was this chapter that got me, and that specific line mentioned ("..., but they never say a thing worth hearing.") that got me thinking about the possibility of the raven being a warg for Bloodraven.

Hi, first: Great to hear you all go back to the roots. I liked the "slightly crazy" book-club atmosphere. second: Stop to spoil Mimi. We all know she herself is not very good in "not-spoiling-anybody" but nevertheless. third: Oh how I like Kyles "winged" summaries. fourth: Short but good episode.

Yay, more podcast, enjoyable as always. Gotta love the chapter rereads.
I could only think of Jaime's quote in S2E7 when you all were speaking on Thoren Smallwood's untimely demise as de facto First Ranger.
"They mean well, but small woods with big jobs - they tend to over do them."

Fun cast. I love how you build podcast theories off of podcast theories. Lots of humorous moments intentional and otherwise. And welcome back Mimi!

Very nice episode! It also feels nice to get back to a more relaxed, chapter re-read style of podcast. Nice to hear you again, Mimi!

Oh yeah direction is awesome. Nothing like a little focus to get the thoughtful podcast creative juices flowing. I really enjoy the podcasts where the focus is a topic that applies to the bigger picture-- love, prophecies, series vs. tv show, theories, specific houses, history, GRRM favorite recipes, etc. Anyway your crew always makes a great podcast discussion usually no matter what-- so keep the awesome eps coming.

How would it be to start talking about the situation in 1-2 Regions in every episode after ADWD? Facts, theories and analysis.
- The north and beyond the wall (everything from Reed to Bloodraven, from Eastwatch to SHadowtower, from White Harvbour to Moat Cailin) - The riverlands, the vale of Arryn (Littlefinger, the Lords declarants, Sansa and Harry, Jaime, Brienne, Stoneheart - where is the Blackfish?) - Westerlands and Dorne (The Lannisters, the Rock, Edmure/capitve at the Rock, Martell's next steps) - Stormlands and Kingslanding (Political situation, JonCOn and teh young Griffin) - Meeren & The Free Cities (Who is coming, when is Dany leaving, how will Arya come back) - The reach and the iron islands (Stiuation at: Oldtown, the shields, Pyke, Tarly-Castle,...)
You could invite some guests to talk about each of the regions.
Or you go back to "character(s) of the week" Jon Tyrion Dany Arya and Sansa Bran and Rickon Stoneheart, Jaime and Brienne
You'll find some formula...
