Relevant excerpts from some of our earliest chats

Context: Mimi had posted in some places looking for people to start the podcast with. She organized one recording session that failed a day or two before this (the file didn't record or had audio problems or something). I was actually planning to make my own ASOIAF podcast at that time (more details on that 'what if' will be revealed in our upcoming episode with Podcast historian Brynden) but I decided to see if I could join up with Mimi's project instead.

Context: The next night, episode 1 recording. I think this recording might has failed or been cancelled at the last minute but I'm not sure (see later chat and the dates.. it doesn't add up). The audacity question is relation the original plan of all of us recording using audacity, separately. The idea in theory might have been to have separate audio tracks for each person, allowing us to edit out overlaps. That didn't last long.
