I know we're still a few chapters away, but I've been thinking about the red wedding. I think it would be really cool if we had as many people as are interested all draw their own version. There is no precedent for this sort of thing, but since it is such a momentous and moving scene I think it deserves special service. A variety of interpretations would be wonderful and it would remove all the pressure from one person. If this potential break in protocol is unnerving and unacceptable, then I fully understand, but I think it would be neat. Also, if I'm wrong and no one is actually interested in drawing it, then that's fine too I guess.

I would be ok with more than one submitted for red wedding, but not limitless - maybe 2 or 3 if there is interest

Also, I'm up for a few interpretations of the RW...though as Amin says, not too many.

I personally have my heart set on the purple wedding, but there you go. I better stalk for that one!

FYI if anyone is wondering, the next chapter to be claimed is Jon VI. The RW (Catelyn VII) is in FOUR chapters.

Not sure if this would work, but maybe someone could do a quick template for the Red Wedding scene... laying out where various characters would be positioned... and then different people could take on different portions, and they could be photoshopped in together? Might be too complicated, but it's an idea.

I've got a preliminary Red Wedding sketch going, that I just started. Don't really want to claim the whole chapter for myself, but I could submit what I've got.

To clarify the RW stuff - Lex has claimed it, but we will take extra submissions. For now, though, we can continue the claiming chain.

For anyone wondering - we are up to chapter 53 out of 82... there is a definite chance we will have this book finished by the end of Season 3.
So if anyone has drawings that they claimed very early on and are still planning on doing them, get on that shiz. Or I'll put you on my wall of shame (as linecom called it).
