i especially enjoy starting this thread after being explicitly asked to discuss the episodes on the front page..........sue me.....wait.........dont sue me........ great episode lots of fun as usual @amin: theyre mongolian spots not .....what did u call them .......a rash? lol @ashley........huston? so are you gonna go? if ashley goes and there are 2 hosts there......i might have to think about buying a ticket as well; one of my closest homegirls lives in the Galleria area of houston and october might be a good time for a visit @mimi: -so i dont get it, is it that youre just THAT busy that you havent watched season 2 yet? or just THAT uninterested................im getting the impression that its more the latter and to that i have to ask why? for all its problems its still a fantastic show .........you dont agree? -why do i feel like you once said you didnt drink? anyway..........a drunk mimi is a fun mimi...........the best line from the show was (in response to ashley's cooking video) "the guys didnt comment because they were too busy fapping"......omg i almost spit out my water thanks for the shoutout! |

Was just saying ideally would be a short sentence or two post on the main page (so we avoid episodes with only 6 comments total) and then the more detailed discussion here. |

I'm pretty sure that Tywin resigned the Handship after Aerys named Jaime to the Kingsguard "under some thin pretext". Jaime mentions he took Cersei back to Casterly Rock with him.... |

Correct, the marriage refusal was just the first major slight to Tywin's honor that presumably started the path that led to his betrayal of Aerys. That is unless the rape of Joanna theory is true. Then there could be more to it. |

So I had the time to finish the episode - I really liked it. You guys find back to really great book discussions - the TV-episodes are always somehow coming back to difference between book and show. So again: great. I have the notion Amin tried to call me - but I was not online. I don't know when you normally record, but the difference Europe-WestCoast might really stand between us here. It was so exciting to have mimi back! And I really liked this episode, lots of good book discussion, plus, a podcast without mimi is just not the same. Yay! Oh, and best baby name would totally be Reek, no way that could ever go badly
