I just listened to episode 21, "The Lost Episode", again and there was a quiz for the guest host, Rob.

The questions were:

1) Name Tommen's three kittens
2) What was Rhaegar's favourite place?
3) What is House Manwoody's house motto?
4) What is the nickname of Gerold Dayne?
5) How many wives has Walder Frey had?
6) Who said 'A mind needs books as a sword needs a Whetstone...'

I think it would be great if you brought this back for future guest hosts (For listeners/forum members - maybe not for George or a tv show producer when they finally decide to come on ). But what do you think the questions do you think the listener should be asked?

I think a test of APOIAF knowledge would be good, some of my sample questions:

1) Who is Yoren's brother?

2) What is the Feather hat theory?

3) What is the Genna Lannister theory?

4) Complete the following phrase: 'It's not gay if...'

5) Which book did Amin and Mimi contribute to?

6) Name three things the podcast has been shunned from?


Can anyone think of potential questions based on the APOIAF catalogue of episodes?

Haha. I like. Especially #6! This seems like it could be an essay question.

Also I think you guys should download a trivia app and have a Family Feud style quiz off.

Was there even an answer to House Manwoody's motto? I don't think it was ever established officially...

And I don't think the hosts decided on a good permanent one yet either. We'll find out in AWoIaF though!

During that episode, Rob answered it would be the same as House Tyrell ("Growing Strong") as House Manwoody are bannermen of House Tyrell. However, that is wrong because House Manwoody are bannermen of House Martell.

Additionally, lesser houses have their own motto, not just the motto of their liege. The only example I can think of right now is House Mormont's "Here We Stand".

Well, Inara is a woman of mystery, y'know. It's only right to keep her exposure to a minimum. Not really a fan of Hendricks in terms of her appearance but I'm sure many will disagree (including Kyle) XD
