So I'm still listening to the episode, but I was completely inspired to do cover art for the Winds of Winter - I was just as subtle as the website you guys refer to. I went a little Picasso on it too...

Of course! It symbolises all the horn blowing that goes on - the dragon horn, the horn of winter, the horn outside Winterfell. Winds of Winter is all about horn blowing.

I am the artist for book 6 - hear it first here on apoiaf forums! :)

Awesome! Sorry about the technical difficulties. The lyrics rival Jed in ribald hilarity ;)

Technical dificulties aside that would have been so epic - Ashley you have a really good voice :)

other than mimi's egregiously erroneous psychiatric diagnoses this was a great episode. i think this episode encapsulates the maturity of the dynamic between the 4 remaining hosts. everyone was comfortable, contributing, witty, and entertaining. this episode def. felt like 4 long time friends talking about something they love. great job guys, i enjoyed listening in. repoire is something that takes time to build and this episode was a great symbol of not only the well balanced group dynamic between the hosts, but also the sense of community in House Manwoody. great job by jed o white hart (literally made me LOL with some of your lyrics, O Jon Snow was my fav), michal (fantastic voice, very pleasant to listen to), jessicka (aussie accent is great), erinyes (good lyrics, enjoyed the british/canadian mix of an accent you have), and of course kyle for all the christmans filks. props to ashley for the idea of this project.

this was an episode that i could especially appreciate as a long time listener, fan, forum contributer, guest host, and Mimi-stalker.

:D

merry christmas yall

Mimi said Kyle loved the Bran chapters but then said 'someone did', just in case anyone is wondering, it was Chris that was the 'Bran fanboy'.

This episode and the two released concurrently with it really contributed to my holiday season. The filks were magnificent.

Great episode - great songs, really liked them all.

To give everybody credit for the songs: For me it is hard to find out who is singing.
- Kyle
- Jed
- inkasrain
- Jesicka
- Is Ashley included??

Anybody else?

My comment on the chapter reread (copied from the comments):
Now to the chapter recap: Well done everybody. I have to agree with Ashley and Amin: The question to send ICE back is not a question of giving your opponent a weapon. They have enough weapons, one more would not even matter. Ned did never fight with his two-handed ceremonial sword – it is a symbol. As far as I remember he normally was a one-handed fighter…

Than again the Lanister's are all about the money and Ice, being an original Valyrian steel sword would have a monetary value and the Lanister's lost their house sword so no surprises they kept it, the theiving bastards, they are after all decended from Lan the trickster who 'tricked' the original owners of the rock (read:theived) their ancestral seat to begin with!

Oh, knowing George there'll be quite a bit of "horn-blowing" in the next book...

I need this cover in A1 poster size, framed, to go on my bedroom wall. Any ideas where I can order this? ;)

Hey guys I'm looking to compile a complete list of those that contributed to the filks on this episode.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm I don't know which song was sung by which person as Jed o'whiteheart did so many!

However: I did 'Jon Snow the Bastard Stark Boy' (look for the accent.
and Erinyes did 'O Soiled Knight' (to the tune of o Holy Night).
And Jed did all the rest... right? :)
