Episode 100 is coming up soon. Here are some ideas we are throwing around for it.

My idea for part of it is a reading from The Queenmaker chapter in AFFC [ http://towerofthehand.com/books/104/022/index.html ]. Perhaps not the *whole* chapter but some classic parts for sure. Which role does Ashley play here, btw?

I was thinking maybe some direct listener contribution. You need to find a section of the books that has a lot of characters, unless Ashley plays both Myrcella AND Sylva? You still have a couple of other characters that you guys would also need to play (Areo Hotah at the end, Garin, other Dornish dude) as well as a narrator. So between the four of you there is plenty of chances for multiple roles.

I may have to record a submission for this special podcast.....

Not certain if this is verboten but I would love to hear all the former hosts if possible.

If we choose to record a 20 sec clip, is there a date we should aim for to have it in by? Are you thinking 100 is still a few weeks away, or is 99 about to be released and 100 could be imminent?

I would say get them in by Feb 23 to be safe but we will keep taking submissions until I post otherwise

I doubt we will have any of the past hosts on (for episode 100 anyway). Beyond the logistical nightmare of scheduling it, at some point I would like to move on

I like the idea of getting a special guest or 7 (ie Elio, Linda, Boiled Leather boys, Inn at the Crosroads gals, Brynden the podcast historian) - it should be a party after all, it's episode 100!

Build a GRRM soundboard from his interviews and then interview the soundboard.

1) You need the FULL current crew, Ashley, Amin, Kyle, Mimi, no absentees!

2) Definitely some good guests. Elio/Linda would be great, maybe Phil from WiC.

3) Various short segments, to keep things lively. E.g. everyone's favourite podcast episodes/memories, most embarrassing podcast moments, etc.

4) Discuss whether you ever imagined the podcast lasting this long.

5) Maybe a short segment discussing hopes/fears for the Season 3. Even if Mimi's lost interest in the show, I'm sure she could come up with some table-flipping scenarios.

6) Read emails, answer voicemails, read forum feedback, etc.

7) Some kind of short game? A guessing game, or a trivia contest.

You could structure it somewhat like a Guy's Night Out, where you have several short segments or questions. Also some impressions or scene readings would be fun. I think variety is the key.

I also like the 20-second clip idea too, so hopefully you get a lot of submissions. I'll send one along!

alex from toth would be also a great guest. and linecoms idea sounds great. something like "the podcasts night ou in westeros". dan would also fit very well.

Recent events gave me the idea that you could ask Chris if he wants to join (he is back here since yesterday) - maybe only for a short call-in. With Mimi, Amin, Ashley and him you would get 4 founding-members on-air. And he could provide maybe some outsiders perspective (if he still has not watched the series). And you could ask him on ADWD - and lots of other things...

I want to hear staged reading of scenes and lots of them. Those are always great and hilarious. I suggest the Stannis/Renly confrontation from Catelyn III. And Jaime saving Brienne from the bear in Jaime VI from Storm of Storms. Kyle deserves the challenge of playing Vargo Hoat.

Great idea - also the Jaime chapter with Bracken and Blackwood is awesome.

And some Dornish action (to bring in the bloodoranges)...

A scene with Dany, Daario.

A Sansa scene (perhaps her wedding?) you get Joffrey being an ass (titty grab!), Tyrion trying to be nice, and Cersei practically kicking her ass down the aisle.
Any scene with three characters would work, as the fourth can narrate.

Also, this is gonna sound crazy but how bout an all day podcast? One host takes 2 hours with guests, have a q&a section or opinion section with live callers, then the next host comes to take over with new guests and a new live caller thingy... IDK, just throwing out my thoughts

That's like asking a parent to choose his/her favorite child. I dont think I could do it.

Can you guys stream the show? Just set up a time when you finally get it together and then use the chatroom, you guys created, so viewers can post comments live. This way you avoid crashing a call with too many people on but you can get community feedback.

Looks like March 18 release date is actually going to happen, not out of choice really but from recording and editing schedule this month.
