Some great bird sounds!

On Aenys pronunciation I always read it as A (hard a) "knees." Never would I have thought of anus though, thank you Mimi.

Mimi,

Did you, like me, first have the phrase 'copious notes' embedded in your head by the classic Ernest Saves Christmas, and have you likewise been overusing it ever since?

great episode from kyle and mimi. its not often that we get a kyle/mimi-sode but when we do its certainly a unique treat. you two are easily two of the smoothest talkers i know and its a pleasure to hear yall podcast despite kyle's creepy ass heavy breathing and baby birds in LA that just wont shut hte fuck up lol.

doing a insta-review of the new GRRM excerpt was a great idea, These last two apoiaf episodes (117 and 118) really display the range that yall have to bring in terms of product. ranging from the smooth, sexual tension filled intimacy of mimi/kyle to the all out cornicopia of nerdy banter and analysis from amin and guest panel on 118.

Semi-Related to this and the podcast in general. I was catching up on the Newsroom (Season 1 Episode 4) and I think I saw Kyle in the background at a party scene. Am I crazy or was that actually Kyle from a Podcast of Ice and Fire? My friend did not know how to react when I yelled, "I think that's Kyle from the Podcast!"

Yup that was probably me. Was I a waiter during a New Years eve party?

The last two ones he missed were 71 (GirlsNightOut V3) and 61 (Anime Territory). No. 61 dates back to 2011. I still had no time to finish the episode but I'll come back with more related comments :)

Oh crap!

Now I need to go watch it! This will definitely be hard to convince my SO that I want to watch this one episode of a series she watches but I do not.

Yep. Cool. I'll never doubt my powers of recognition again. You'll be in a Game of Thrones scene before you know it.

I went back and watched that scene from The Newsroom and I don't know how I missed Kyle the first time. You played the shit out of that waiter.

There's an Aenys Frey too.

Wyman Manderly's gonna make hot dogs out of that one.

As soon as he catches him and Lips Frey in the same place, anyways.

Rome is pretty beyond elite, particularly season one. Less good after they learned they were getting the axe and had to rush like four seasons into S2, but still, great show. Learn what all the fuss was about re: Mance Caesar, and witness the greatest brolove story ever committed to film. THIRTEEN!

I'm sure Amin said that he met George and had the chance to interview him (as discussed in earlier podcast)...Just in regards to Kyle being the only one to meet George.

The discussion of the pronunciation of Aenys Targaryen's name had me imagining a Young Frankenstein like story in which Aenys is constantly correcting people and telling them his name is pronounced Ah-neece Tare-gahr-ian.

Funny episode. First time, I've been able to sit down and listen and it perked up my evening. Thanks.

This image might be helpful for future discussions on the Targaryen lineage.

Also, it was Lame Lothar who eventually unveils the details of Robb's Army sneaking by the Golden Tooth with Grey Wind's help. That is a whole other conspiracy in itself; the Heir to the Twins.

I first read about this episode here on the boards and thought: Finally an "Only the Ladies" podcast with Mimi and Ashley. Luckily for Kyle the official episode title is not "The Princess and the Queen" :)

Oh I had the same idea instantly after reading the topic title but yes, your picture made my day then. I'm sorry I have changed jobs and often just read the threads in these days and therefor often forget to comment on some awesome comments :)
