I think that's just for the nomination (earlier), for votes everyone should be getting an email.
I haven't gotten an email yet (what address is it from?). I haven't seen that screen (guess that comes up after you verify by email). Anyway, I'll see in the morning.

 Mine came from here: automated@podcastawards.com and was literally a second after I voted. Do you think yours took longer because you clicked the podcast host option rather than listener?

Anyone have any strong feelings about deserving podcasts in other categories that could use the support of House Manwoody?
I am (and I know a few other forum members are also) a big fan of Rob Has A Podcast which is nominated in the Best Produced and Best Video categories.
Also love the Sci-Fi Christian in Religion. Ben would make a good guest on APoIaF.
Since I am voting anyways I would love to hear what other people like in some of the other categories.

If you don't have a food/drink podcast, Alcohollywood is a good show, or a Film/Movies podcast I would recommend Animation Addicts. Does anyone think APOIAF will benefit from being #1 on the list, if a few voters don't have a podcast to vote for in the entertainment section, they may choose APOIAF as it is the first choice? I had those thoughts a few times for mature/religious/politics etc. podcasts.

For humor I recommend "The Bugle", one of the host is John Oliver from Jon Stewards show.
For Tech "The Vergecast", and
"RadioLab" where ever you see it.

I love that we're supporting other podcasts too. You guys are the best.
I was immediately sent a verification email. I guessed at the time that it was because I only voted for the entertainment category and no others, but I don't know for sure.

My only other real recommendations are the various NPR podcasts, Radiolab, This American Life, and Planet Money are all great.
Immediate confirmation emails both times for me as well.
