Applause for FTWard! What a wonderful opening to this thread. I especially like that last picture. For someone who has made an appearance as a gay man on a network sitcom, Kyle is awesomely bad at detecting homosexuality in fiction.

Can't really blame him. Ducksauce isn't nearly as flaming in the show.

Well yeah, Xaro in the show is not at all gay, but they were discussing the books and all the rather straightforward textual clues went right over Kyle's head.

Yay! I finally listened and was delighted to hear Vik's and Bina's voices on the main podcast. They definitely did House Manwoody proud. And props to Amin for all his support of VOK.

Certain stereotypes would dictate that a significant segment of tumblr users are particularly attuned to issues of feminism and social justice and would therefore be greatly offended by the use of the term "bitch." However, an alternative view would be that large swaths of tumblr are devoted to pornography and exploitative imagery and would thus enthusiastically embrace the demeaning nomenclature of "bitch" as an apt descriptive.
