Applause for FTWard! What a wonderful opening to this thread. I especially like that last picture. For someone who has made an appearance as a gay man on a network sitcom, Kyle is awesomely bad at detecting homosexuality in fiction.

Well yeah, Xaro in the show is not at all gay, but they were discussing the books and all the rather straightforward textual clues went right over Kyle's head. This was great. Favourite bit was Kyle's genuine surprise that Xaro is gay and hatred of zorses. I really like the Vassals podcasts - I've only listened to the ones about Feast/Dance but they were really great Nice work everyone!
