no trolling! at george's thursday signing session, i asked if we could take him out for a meal or drinks over the weekend. i've learned that apparently the way you get to have dinner with your hero is to start a shitty experiment with skype and audacity in your bedroom during undergrad and then do that for six years until it gets you to the same event he's attending and then you just straight up ask. all thanks to amin, really. i would've never gotten up the sheer gall to ask if it wasn't for amin coaching me, haha.

I'm amused that my past antics have reached the point where this was a possible interpretation  Seriously, surreal as it was (initially), it happened . No pics from it as we all learned to dislikes photos by the end of the dinner after we helped George's assistant fend off hordes of photo hungry fans (some fans were more rude than others). But as George said, a good chat is more fulfilling than always taking a photo.
