I tried to find another thread that covered this, but the only one that came up was something 'oxmix' posted concerning ASOIAF plot brackets, but thought I would resurrect the idea of Episode Suggestions in this thread.

So let's help out our favorite fandom podcasters by giving them ideas, guests (other than ourselves, of course ) etc.

this might be a doable idea, i'd need to check with amin. synchronizing everyone's availability seems quite tricky, but i wouldn't totally rule it out!

No worries. I think it would be super cool, I figure that Linda/Elio/WiC will have some sort of appearances going on, for sure, in various media about the ending, but probably will have to be pretty diplomatic about their views...

Here, they can let their hair down and talk about how they feel using perhaps more forceful and colorful language, not having to talk in sound-bites, etc.

I didn't mention Larry Williams because of fear of spoilers, there is also Ms. Nedopak, too.

But I just basically like the idea of doing a podcast dedicated to looking at the first season as a whole, rather than taking on that look back as an addendum to the season finale episode (figured that is where you would have Larry back), whether it includes the great crew of APOIAF and/or members of ASOIAF website fandom.

just a quick idea: you COULD try and get Esme Bianco on the show. I remember her posting on the facebook group once or twice and she seemed really interested in the fans and everything. Maybe you should just contact her on fb and ask.

Have Linda whisper something sexy in George's ear. With that accent, he'll be on the podcast in a second.

I know yall have done "whose on your small council?" but what about "who are the 7 members of your kings/queensguard and lord commander?" I think you have stated your lord commanders at some point.

Not to answer for everyone again... But whoever doesn't pick Ser Barristan is as stupid as Cersei. That said, I definitely want to hear answers!

Very interesting question...do you pick based on just fighting skills or include other factors? Loyalty would have to be considered. Do you factor in honor? I have to think on this, but my Lord Commander would be Syrio. Ser Barristan would be there, but he doesn't get top spot.

For Feb 14th, all the horndogs here would probably like a reading of all of the "dirty" scenes from the series too.

Well...they can do a tv sexposition / book series sex scene podcast on Steak and a Blowjob day, March 14. That's probably right before the season premiere....

Also, once DANCE comes out it would be really cool if you guys did an episode where you review all the new cover art that has come out in the 3+ years since the first 'mini' episode.

I'd like to see at least one more podcast before ADwD comes out, maybe with a Dance predictions section, most/least likely to die, who the unknown POV is, POV you're most looking forward to, who'll have the best sex scene, etc.

Let the hosts record their reactions to major plot points or minor events in the dance and string it all together chronologically into a podcast episode. First reactions and rants are always funny, should make for some great listening until you guys put out an actual dance podcast.

We should get one before y'all continue with the rereads right?

I agree, another podcast before ADWD is released would be nice (we won't get another one fo at least 2 weeks after its release because everybody is reading and rereading and nobody wants to listen to a potentially spoilerish podcast...), not only about predictions and potential PoVs but also a recap of the fates that were left dangling both at the end of SoS and FfC (Jon is LC but Janos Slynt and Alliser Thorne are working against him, Stannis wants to make the Watch his own and the Lannisters won't send men until Janos Slynt is LC, Arya is blind, wtf?, Where in the world is Tyrion? or Varys..., Coldhands, Myrcella's terrible scar which certainly rivales Tyrion's, Loras from Jaime 2.0 to Sandor 2.0, brothers Clegane, skinless Theon (CoK even), Dany's attempts at ruling, Davos' betrayal by the Manderlys?, the whole Greyjoy stuff I forgot, ...)

For the record, anybody who predicts Dany finally sailing, getting hit on the head with an oar, falling overboard, and drowning totally stole that from me. That is a Kevin theory and if/when it proves to be true, I should get sole credit.

or an episode with predictions for the end of the series, not how it will end just what everyone thinks will happen at some point(ie: Cersei learning how to warg into an even bigger c*nt or something like that)

Now that the HBO season is over:

I would love to hear a podcast with some of the principals of the "Heresy" threads on Westeros.org. "Black Crow" seems like the ringleader.

Some far-out stuff in there but on the whole very interesting.

I would love another What If? episode, those are fun. I've been listening to the GoT audio book lately and all these crazy "But what if he'd just...?" scenarios keep popping into my head.

Any info on the S4 GoT review episodes?
I assume both mimi and Ashley will not be around (though I very much hope I am wrong).
When generally might we expect episodes to be released?

We obviously want to release them a soon after Sunday as possible, but we don't have definite release times. If we're free on Monday morning we will record then. If not, then maybe Tuesday morning. As soon as we can I guess is the best answer I can give.
