Is anyone coming down (or up) (or east) (probably not west) for NYCC? I'll only be there on Sunday, but I'd love to meet up with any Manwoodies who are getting their Con on that weekend. I think tickets are still available from retailers, if you're interested.

I might be going just on Saturday. Not sure yet. Seeing if I can convince some friends to take the train in. But I would be one of the few people going West for it.

I think I'm gonna be in Maine that weekend but if not maybe I'd come up from Philly

I will be in the city that day and would be completely up for a podcast related meet-up.

I'm not going to the Con this year, but would love to meet up, if that happens.

I'm assuming NYCC costs some amount of money, so I will sadly not be attending.

That being said, I would LOVE to have a little meet-up that weekend with who ever is in town.

Foiled again. I can't make it Sunday. Thursday was the only day I could make it, but I ended up not buying a ticket since the Bob's Burgers panel was the only thing I was really interested in. Hope you all have a fun meetup.

Where is the Con at? We can meet somewhere near there if that's convenient for people.

NYCC is at the Jacob Javits Center, around 34th street on the West side of Manhattan near the river. I am in a Tolkein meetup that meets at a decent little diner on 34th and 8th called the Skylight Diner. We could go there.

Are folks still interested in meeting up on Sunday afternoon?

I am - I'm just deciding whether I want to walk to 34th and 8th or try and scrape up something closer! What time were we thinking, 5:30 ish?

Also, if it doesn't work out tomorrow, we can always try and arrange a general moot at a later time.

I think I'll be down, barring some last minute family thing that might come up. I'd be up to meet anywhere, that just happens to be the place I know.

Moot Update: Fauxintel and I had a lovely chat outside of the unexpectedly-closed coffee place, and in an act of bizarre serendipity, has a mutual friend with my non-APOIAF-y friend. We have resolved to meet again in a proper East Coast moot - stay tuned!
