We use dropbox for one source of episode backups, record transfers, and perhaps Zencastr if we get that working properly. BUt dropbox has removed some of the free space they used to have so we are a few gigs over now. They still give 500mb per referral that signs up and install dropbox on your computer (you can remove it later so it doesn't have to stay permanently out there).

How much data is it over and what does the data cost per GB? Will referrals provide enough data for the foreseeable future, or will it become necessary to pay for the data as needed?

Referrals will be enough I think. This is just one of several backups we use. About 4 gigs over so that's 8 people that will sign up at some point, plus a couple to spare.

Your signup is showing up but it says waiting for install in regards to you. If you've installed it already it might take a day to update.
