YOU GUYS!!! Two hundred episodes!!! It's been delightful to witness the progression of a teeny tiny fancast with a shocking lack of knowledge as it blossoms into a towering behemoth of wit and wisdom about ASOIAF. Loved hearing about people's favorite memories, the impact the podcast has had, and that there's still great, thoughtful discussion about chapter rereads. Also, the bliss of hearing Mimi shout me out was quickly tempered by the fact that she unfollowed me on FB  Gotta keep a girl humble!

I'm so grateful you still make time to do these, even if they're not as long or as often, it's still like Christmas morning to see an episode arrive in my feed. The one and only silver lining of the epic wait for the last books is that we get more episodes to enjoy while we wait!

All the thanks, all the love, all the bebeh belleh blurps
XOXOXOXO

I'm glad Amber created a thread for this; I miss the threads on episodes and seeing all the discussion and feedback. Really glad you finished on time for Friday (I must have checked dozens of times each day last week, impatient to listen to episode 200).

I loved the Tower of the Hand song at the end - who's the great performer?
"No.1 die-hard fan of the podcast" has a nice ring to it!

I also still like the chapter re-reads, but wouldn't it be cool to have a new D&E novella or another ASOIAF short-story,
I mean in general - and to have a review episode. There is always this different aspect of the hosts talking
about something new for the first time, kind of exploring it, coming up with new theories etc.

Anyways... it's still a great show and I can't wait for the next 200!

Mimi: "Aaron got burnt out on A Song of Ice and Fire really quickly"

Amin: "Yeah, I think by episode 1 he was burnt out"

Really enjoyed this though I now realize that I have been pronouncing FloorAcita wrong in my head all this time.

Re: Energy etc. I think mixing in more themed episodes would reduce the slog of the reread.

Great content, brutal audio. How'd it go from echo to some pre-cog sound? Too bad Ashley couldn't make it but it was great hearing from Mimi! Here's to, at least, 200 more!
