Great show guys (and Linda cameo)! Really scratched an itch for ASoIaF content. Always enjoy more Stannis talk. Awesome job Duncan! Missed Kyle. Loved the topics. I think I settled on The Hooded Man/The Ghost in Winterfell being The Stranger. Is Dick Bean the Leeroy Jenkins of ASoIaF? I believe Robert should have put House Blacktyde in charge of the Iron Islands but I suspect he would have been thrilled if Balon would have rebelled every decade to give him a war to fight. Not that Balon would have as he was scared of Robert and Ned. |

Agree with Elio about Stannis being a great character but a shit person. I think the show runners went with that interpretation. They may have missed but it wasn't out of spite. I don't get that. Almost 1/2 way through this one and I'm loving it. Old school. |
