I'm up for being a Frey. (We need to just casually walk into dinner dressed like that, whistling.)

Just checking with others that bought tickets through the website. Did you receive any kind of email confirmation or any sort? I bought it, paid through paypal (I've seen the deduction on my card) but didn't get any kind of automated confirmation.
Edit: Nevermind, I just got my confirmation email. Just a few days later.

I booked a room at the stone lodge, We will almost certainly drive from Maryland, Assuming my daughter does not come (and this year she is planning studying abroad) we may have room in our car if folks need to fly into DC first.

Sister and I got a place in the Chesnut Lodge.
Somehow I had missed the Dirty Dancing connection to the place until I heard their hold message this morning.

For clarity's sake, when I said you "have to dress up". 1) I am usually dressed up for like 2 hours max total the whole weekend 2) You don't really have to dress up. 3) The Archer's Gambeson is on SALE y'all http://www.medievalcollectibles.com/c-4 ... esons.aspx4) The Manwoody clique is at least the 5th coolest one there 5) If Kyle offers to drive you there in an RV ... don't trust him

I have. Ser Hosteen will be there, so Manderlys best watch out.
(ETA the correct Frey)

Thomas, are you committing to Olyvvar Frey? If so, who would go best with Hosteen and Olyvaar. I don't think I'll get along with Hosteen, Stannis considers him "dim & stupid". I could go as Emmon and walk around clutching a parchment signed by King Tommen. But I'm not particularly thin or bald. But I can do the "nervous" thing quite well.

Actually I picked Hosteen just because he's described as stocky and his hair isn't a particularly defining feature. My sister says she's gonna make me a surcoat and she can embroider the Frey arms on it. She's planning to go as a Mormont to be determined. I think the parchment is a good idea. Or just look mean as hell at all times to be Black Walder.

I am either going to be Olyvar Frey or an obscure as yet picked hipster Frey. Surcoat.. I think

Anyone coming from the Boston area? I haven't been but would really like to. I'd be driving down alone though and it'd be cool to travel with someone.

If you wanna take the Ferry to LI I'd be happy to share the driving load. 12 hours is better than 14 hours...but its still 12 hours of driving.

We booked our room for a day early, so if you are going to be there Thursday night, you're welcome to come visit the Chestnut Lodge for some free drinks. (Unless you're super rich, in which case, the drinks are on you!)

Since I've had no free time to devote to a new Cosplay I think I'm gonna resurrect my Lord Manderly, but get some time-period appropriate pants this time. And maybe some bling.
Also, should we start debating t-shirt/jersey designs? It's just less than 2 months away. I'd be happy to organize like the last two years.

Sure, go ahead. I was hoping to have jerseys this time around.
