I do, and it's only a matter of 2$/month, so I urge people to do it aswell since a 503 error, in addition to delaying our outstanding ASoS drawing project might throw off some newcomers not realising that this is probably a temporary problem...

Unlimited what? Traffic/data?

Since the 503's are random and it usually works a few seconds later its definitely not a matter of a traffic or data limit. I'm guessing its bandwidth or number of active connections. Maybe they need to scale up the server(s) so it can handle enough simultaneous requests. Either way your host should be able to tell you from their logs.

i do not know if the admins are aware of it - but look at this topic: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1832 - i have to say it gets worse every day (it took nearly 8 minutes to load this topic). please look up some solution, i would happily donate money, bevause i have to say in this stadium it is a pain in the ass to visit the boards....

I'm not sure if the admins are aware of this but the borad is getting slower every day. Look also: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1832 I have to say it is getting a real pain in the ass - it needed nearly 10 minutes to load this topic and post an answer... I would happily donate money to improve that - just say something.

I recently get more and more of this:

I think it may be the download of podcasts off the website. I managed for the first time ever to track direct downloads off the website (manual right click downloads). We had over 30 in the first hour and since last night's episode release, 350 people have downloaded the episode directly off the website via the manual right click. That's not to count the other potential hundreds or thousands who are subscribed to the RSS feed and will be downloading over the next few days (I suspect that at least 50% if not a large majority of active listeners are subscribed in iTunes or some other program)

So it is great that our podcast is getting such wide exposure, but I think that might be affecting the website (it is pretty obvious as the issue started right after I released last night). I am thinking of ways we could fix this. One option might be to post the manual download link to an alternate server, to at least spread those ones to a server independent of the website. The problem is that websites like dropbox will quickly go over traffic. I am thinking about trying mega next time, it seems to have a lot more bandwith.

There is also the separate issue that we are nearing our 10 gig file storage limit. I managed to stall the problem by archiving some of the earlier episodes but if we keep producing 100mb episodes, it will be an issue soon.

I've been having problems accessing the Podcast through the TouchBB App - not sure what is going on there. Sometimes if there's a server issue iut does this, but it's been like that for a good few weeks now.
