Great artwork by Vaarsuvius as usual! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =1&theaterBut I don't get the references (are there references in there?) What was your inspiration, beyond my requesting of a portrait? Why do I appear so violent?

Toque over headband?!?!?
Great stuff Lady V! Trying to figure out the references myself.

Really cute as always!
I think the toque(I had to google that btw) is in keeping with Amin's updated pix
Not sure of references either, like are the slain representative of certain characters? Why did Amin kill a lady with pink hair? Is that poison on the ground? But I like the image of the Badass Podcast Hero drinking some Dornish Red on his fallen foes.
Good job Vaar!

I thought he was slaying the other hosts based on their rotating pictures on the main site....

I may not be using the courrect Canadian spelling.

Intriguing. So Vaarsuvius gave no caption or explanation, she just dropped the picture on you? I'm sure it will all make perfect sense once she tells us what it's about and then we'll all feel dumb for not getting it sooner.

That's a very cool-looking portrait, great job, Vaarsuvius! So...Amin had his revenge (on the other podcast hosts? someone else?) and is now chilling out in Dorne drinking some wine? (And the dragon head, is that Meraxes'? Mayhaps Amin was the one who killed him. )

I may not be using the courrect Canadian spelling. "Toque" is correct. At least in my neighbourhood, eh? Across the river (en français, au Québec) though, it'd be "tuque". Which has even more u's in it. If it helps, I'm pretty sure it looks weird in writing to most of us up here in the Great White North too. "Courrect"... LOL, that's hilarios. As for the portrait, I'm curious and a bit confused about any references there too. Looks like a dead goblin on the right?! I'd guess it's a Green Man from the Isle of Faces, except no antlers... Maybe they don't grow them until adulthood, which would explain the constant references to "green boys" usually being left behind with the old men when everyone else goes off to war...

Could be a mana potion, or just water. Seems to have been broken undrunk. FTWard wrote: Vanquished Foe #1 Brown hair Bleeding from the mouth Brown scale (?) mail with crescent belt Male ?
I see some resemblance to the Reeds Vaarsuvius has drawn for the Paint Project. The scale armor evokes Tully connotations however. FTWard wrote: Vanquished Foe X Are there more bodies in there?
I can see an armored form with a horned helmet underneath the gray-skinned fellow and on top of "Ashley" FTWard wrote: Decapitated Mystery Head 4 Horns Scales Pokemon thing? At first glance it looks like the severed head of Viserion to me. Recent mentions of Meraxes being killed in Dorne and how "it made Dorne even more badass" make me think it might be him, as JoThirteen said. Meraxes was slain by an arrow through the eye however, but artistic liberties are to be expected.

Perhaps the severed head is an Argonian and that's an orc with a top knot (he's got the teeth). I'm still at loss as to why Amin decimated these various characters.

ahahah you guys are adorable, puzzling this out like some spoiler chapter or leaked material for the show. the thing is, Amin requested a portrait of himself based on a picture he gave me (with said toque. we call them beanies here for some reason...) and also said it'd be cool if it could be in the vein of Amok's portrait of Oberyn. So I wanted to draw Amin with a squash racket posing at first like Oberyn but in the end I felt like drawing this instead. Just him chilling with some Dornish Red after a battle. the foes are just random characters I thought up. The reptile head belongs to an unfortunate kobold. But! Now that I think about it... I should have put the Apple logo on all of their armours... It would explain why Amin was so violent, wouldn't it? Agh! Great opportunity missed! lol
PS Broken bottle was totally a mana potion. Too late, pink-haired spellcaster and drow wizard!
