Hey all,

So Scilens is going to be in old Melbourne town next week, and I figured it was high time we had another Ozmoot! :)

Date: Tuesday the 8th of July
Time: 6.30? Happy to make changes but that's probably the earliest I'd make it there from work
Location: Cafe L'incontro, Cnr Swanston & Lt Collins Streets Melbourne VIC 3000

Anyone who is interested and in the area is welcome! :)

Scilens, I figured that you'd be up for anywhere in the CBD based on your hotel, and this place should be easy to get to via tram/walking if you're feeling energetic.

Valkyrist, that place looks pretty cool and chilled out - we should have better luck on a Tuesday as opposed to our last foray out on a Friday night to a officeworker hot spot. :)

Let's make this meeting of the Krakens a true Krakenmoot/Kingsmoot/Ozmoot to remember. WHAT IS DEAD MAY NEVER DIE.

Will you be doing a real-time podcast, or just talking?

Of course I'm coming. :)

Yep, time and date works. As I said, though, I haven't been to this cafe. It could be a front for the mob for all I know.

I'm happy to record a mini KrakenKast if you guys feel like it. No pressure though.

Great night, all. :) lots of fun. Let's not go there again though, my dinner was not nice.

And thanks for the winter cake, Marius!! Looks like it's my turn to try a ASOIAF cake for the next Ozmoot. Pigeon pie?

Thanks for lovely evening, guys.

This is an picture of the Wintercake, baked using the modern recipe from A Feast of Ice and Fire.

Regarding the place we've met, I'll research a better one until the next meeting is due. Hopefully, it will be a podcast friendly one.

And now there's four. Don't make posts on a small screen this early with no sleep they said, you'll fuck it up they said. Clearly this Gandalf mouse triggered a minor meltdown on my part.

You know it's a good thread when Zach's phone starts spamming like crazy.

That was the name of one my university's football teams. I wore it because it's warm, but in hindsight, the heraldry was quite appropriate.

I second this emotion, absolutely beautiful this cake!! I've still only ever made the lemoncakes (about once a week this season of the show) and the honey wine, and I got the cookbook right when it was published :? I'm inspired anew!

At the moment it looks like a week in Melbourne, a few days in Sydney and a few days in Brisbane. Might be a day in Adelaide to stock up on Farmers Union iced coffee and see the quasi-family but prob not Perth this time which is a shame. Whereabouts are you based?
