This is my first post after joining a few weeks ago. But I was listening to GeekTime on sattelite radio and some chick named Marti Knoxon, who's apparently somewhat famous, but for stuff I care not for mentioned A Podcast of Ice and Fire. She said she loves the show, never read the books (for shame) but she gets all her spoilers from a Podcast of Ice and...then she was cut off by the host. I thought it was pretty cool that someone without ties to ASoIaF mentioned it. It was the first segment with her about 20 minutes in. If I had any kind of techonological skills I would post it, but I am inept. I'm sure some of the good (or not so good) people here can handle that. Geez, I hope I kept this post unter 60,000 characters.

I wasn't really going into exile. I'm just noticing that it sounded like I was being a whiny bitch. My horrible attempt at humor. I think I understand why my wife says I'm not as funny as I think I am. Either way, it's good to be apart of the forums. Thanks for the welcome.

I think she listens to the podcast, but the host cut her off before she went into detail because of his natural aversion to Manwoody. Ok, well make it your goal to mention the podcast on the radio or on other mediums

Yeah right around the :38 mark it sounds like, "Why read the books when you can just download the Podcast [static - "Ice"] " and get's cut off.
I think she was going to say Podcast Ice. So I do think it's House Manwoody and the Brotherhood Without Manners.
