Correct, the marriage refusal was just the first major slight to Tywin's honor that presumably started the path that led to his betrayal of Aerys.

So I had the time to finish the episode - I really liked it. You guys find back to really great book discussions - the TV-episodes are always somehow coming back to difference between book and show. So again: great.

I have the notion Amin tried to call me - but I was not online. I don't know when you normally record, but the difference Europe-WestCoast might really stand between us here.

1. i've tried a few times to watch the later episodes in season 2. i keep falling asleep or turning it off because i just don't feel interested in them. harsh, i know. but maybe i'll try again with other people around who'll prevent me from giving up halfway.

2. i didn't start drinking until maybe a few months ago!

It was so exciting to have mimi back! And I really liked this episode, lots of good book discussion, plus, a podcast without mimi is just not the same. Yay! Oh, and best baby name would totally be Reek, no way that could ever go badly
