Just grabbing a bit of food prior to abusing my liver - see you all @ 7-ish, I am wearing a Relentless motorcycle jacket over my Night's Watch hoodie (hey it's cold outside!) and my trusty red Converse sneakers ;) no surprises I left Ice at home :(

It was an absolute pleasure meeting some fellow ASOIAF fans, topics discussed included but were not restricted to: the books, the show, podcast hosts (past and present), cricket (yawn), south pole expeditions, piercings, scotland, colorado, skyfall, nfl, food (mmm lemon cakes), and much much more!
We have already made plans to meet up again for a season opener party, which will be facy dress and feature food from A Feast of Ice and Fire, and unlike Texas WE TOOK PICS!
Thanx for showing up to those that made it and to those that couldn't make it, you missed a good night out ;)

thanks for a great night at cockneymoot#1, really enjoyed meeting all you charming and intelligent people. Had a nice chicken kebab on the way home , so not feeling too hungover. Struggling with pc (as usual) to upload pics , but I shall persevere. I would have to give the lemoncakes a 3.5 on the lemoncake scale or maybe a 4. Looking forward to the next gathering for the season premier at binas , I shan't wear my grrm getup for that one , maybe I'll go as the hound ? I shall have to give it some thought. Thanks again for a great time

Awesomeness! What a fun evening - can't believe it went by so quickly! Really looking forward to the Cockney Banquet too. Save the date for April 6th. I've just emphasised to my family the DEEP importance of getting the Cookbook for Christmas. Hopefully, with this much notice we can shake a few more APOIAF fans out of the tree.

Neil and I have had a gander at the recipes in A Feast of Ice and Fire and think between the 2 of us we can manage: Mutton in onion-Ale Broth (soup) and Roasted Boar (main) so anyone not feeling confident can try for some sides!
I think Bina said something about attempting Cream Swans (dessert) on Twitter - anyone want to add to the menu?

Awesomeness. I made the baked apples today and they were scrumptious so if my sugared swan collapses I have a back up plan! I also plan to get some pear brandy steeping this week as it takes three months!
Does anyone have any dietary requirements we need to be aware of?
