An oldschool IRC-Chatroom would be awesome - but I also do not now how to set such a thing up, or if there are free providers for that...
edit: I found a provider - I'll get more information and come back to you...

 me too - but I'm currently working on that issue... Question for the Admins: Are you for/against such an attempt. I found a provider and at the moment that looks quite promising. I'm testing but as far as I can see it really looks good... So if it is ok for you I could set a chatroom up - if not, I will not do it...

I thought Ursup talked about a aPoIaF-chatroom. However. There may be some possibilities that I found, but before I do anything I would like to hear the Admin's/Host's take on it.

What are the options (other sources) for creating an audio chat room? Would people be interested in that as well?

Using something like a Teamspeak server or something similar was always what we used in gaming communities I've been in, but they tend to be a bit expensive.
