To be honest if you want me to be clear, I'm not being humble, I'm damn fucking proud I managed to get an interview at Cambridge. Big achievement in my 18 years of surviving human life, that okay with you? Cool.

I grew up in Cambridge and so went to the Other Place. I also did undergrad admissions for my college while doing my Masters (mostly to tell the German econ prof the difference between a candidate from a private and public school.) There's no way I wanted to go to college any place where my mum could drop by at random - you need to be at least a 90 minute drive away so they need to call before coming !

That is very true, luckily all the places I've applied are far enough away that my parents won't both me! My brother beat me to going the furthest away by going to Sussex!

I just visited the APOIAF chat and noticed Podrick was not in the chat. I honestly wanted to try out the hang man game, and ask the squire for a few drinks. lol. So i'm wondering if anyone still uses the chat and what time zone everyone is on. I'm on Pacific Time, so i'll be available in the afternoons and in the evenings. I'm usually available on the weekends too.

I'll reactivate Podrick in the next days and give you all a heads-up when he is back.
