With this year coming to an end I'd like to hear what are your favorite podcast episodes of 2012? My favorite episode is Blackwater! Not only because it is 3 hours long, it also includes Larry, and one of the best aftershows ever! Also Happy new year to the best Podcast community ever! I hope 2013 will be a year filled with Manwoodies and feathered hats! Thanks Amin, Mimi, Ashley and Kyle for one of the best podcasts on the internet!

Hear, hear! 2012 covered episodes 67-95, so its hard to pick a single favorite. As the new year rolls in, I'll definitely raise a glass or two in honor of House Manwoody and drink to hopes of bountiful asoiaf goodness in the coming year.

i voted for ep. 74 just b/c i had a blast talking to mimi and gang. the aftershow was thoroughly enjoyable (even thought it got me in trouble) just b/c the hosts were willing to chat about whatver i wanted and answered whatever questions i had.

Wow, we were talking about FFG in ep 67? I do remember we tried earlier to contact them without success, your networking contact came in handy the second time. Ep 67 also had an effect on BOK, lead some some BOK episodes and our continuing skype contact with Cosmia. Ep 69 - Yeah, I had to actually edit some of the discussion, in particular Alex's dark podcasting side. Things got a lot crazy in the last half hour or so, even for APOIAF  We would still be hearing the after-effects on tumblr right now otherwise

There is board game talk in all three episodes 67- 69 that I have relistened to this week. I think it must have been right after 2nd Edition.
I was hoping for some Hard Richard in GNO but I don't think there was any.
I remain curious on what exactly Alex said but the reactions are funny even in the edited format!

I think I am going to vote for EP 95 just cause it gave me a laughy warm fuzzy holidayey feeling but this is really a vote for the three episodes of 93 & 94 & 95 which featured some of the great people from the forum including jed o', inkasrain, Erinyes and of course brynden and Dickon (though I think Dickon should be banned until her Houston comic is completed!) and jesicka. Oh Amin, you're just poking at the fire now. First the casual usurpation in her absence... I shudder to think of what grandiose and chilling plans our Queen has for this year's Girls' Night Out episodes. But that is a pretty rad intro. Also, FTWard, IDK why but "Lady Dickon" is so just weird. It's like Dame Manwoody. Or Mistress Cocksure. I'm just not sure what line of work that sort of name implies, you know. It reminds me of one of a teacher I once had... Her real name was Madam Kok. Needless to say, the boys gave her a really hard time over it.

So we had to call her Ibu Ankie (her first name). The Blackwater episode was best because it contained a very thorough discussion with Larry (who despite his sometimes superficial approach to the characters in the ASOIAF series is quite endearing).
