When my unBritish ears heard your voice I thought you sounded like a real proper English lady, kind of like if Juliet Landau in BTVS (yes I know she's American) moved her working class accent up the social ladder... Oh and you don't sound like a kiddie at all! Just young

Finally powered through the rest of the episode. Thank you very much for honoring me with a seat on the large council.

As Grand Maester of the Large Council I would like to officially diagnose Mainstream American Pop Culture with Game of Thrones Fever............its all over tv and the internet. there's no escape. the bandwagon is full as hell, but there are also more readers then ever before.......
treatment: stay true to the book first roots by constructively critiquing missteps the show takes, but also appropriately give credit when they hit the right marks.
prognosis: another spike in the house manwoody membership with hoardes of lurkers pouring out from the shadows........tables will be flipped.......mimi will post more pics of her chest on facebook....poe fights will be fought....more GOTs/Asoiaf podcasts both good and bad will spring from the earth.......recaps will be written and recorded......parodies will be enjoyed......and so it goes and so it goes...........

congratulations on 100 episodes!!!!!
i enjoyed the "queenmaker" read through. I think it would be cool if you had a read through on each episode, say 2-5 minute segment. As you go through each chapter (for the re-reads) you could pick a segment of text (the most profound or interesting part) and read a short piece.
I thought Mimi was too mean to Kyle. I'm sure he can handle it. Though he's the newest member of the podcast, he has contributed heavily .

I highly doubt that the back and forth between Kyle and Mimi is anything other than friendly banter.

Yes, it took a lot of effort to get the other hosts to agree as you may have heard, but I'm really happy with the results. I had the same idea, we'll see if it ever comes into fruition (for that and another shorter read check out episode 53 the lemoncakes place one). Chapter re-reads are going to be on the backburner for a while now.

Curious, how long would it take to prepare that, and then when would it start to lessen the enjoyment the hosts get from podcasting. Secondly, if this became a regular feature, what is the possibility of encountering legal issues because of it?

Secondly, if this became a regular feature, what is the possibility of encountering legal issues because of it? Don't think either is a a problem. We are talking about reading out a couple of lines from each chapter, that's it. Doesn't take any time to prepare beyond reading it during the chapter re-read. Not going to happen as I said for potentially months unless we slip a chapter re-read in the middle of season 3 episode reviews (which themselves are going to be hard to schedule).

Amin, Sounds like you're a little worried about having things to discuss on an ongoing basis? Is there any chance that in future episodes we can have some dissection of some of the theories to come out of ADWD? (e.g. Aegon being a Blackfyre, Septa Lemore being Ashara Dayne) I know that with season 3 now on us (tomorrow) this sort of thing will be on the back-burner, but there's still lots to discuss about Dance. Cheers!
