APoIaF has good symmetry with ASoIaF. Anyway, Amin's on the podcast, he can nickname it 'the' if he wants, but I expect to be addressed formally by Esquire.

Sorry for all the controversy. The guy is a journalist and a self described nitpicker (I have my doubts) but he can't be bothered to get the name of the podcast correct?
I am thrilled for any press APoIaF gets and hope they get tons of great new listeners but to paraphrase a middling Texan (no not Mordion this time) he's no nitpicker.

It is in fact THE podcast of ice and fire. As Kyle always says in his "starting the episode monologue".
I know it is officially alled aPoIaF - but I always saw that a) as parallel to aSoIaF and b) because at the time it was founded there were more of them. But today it is THE podcast of ice and fire (and sometimes game of thrones).
Great to see you mentioned somewhere else!
