Hey everyone tonight is the first ever Geekie Awards. APOIAF has already won Best SciFi/Fantasy podcast and has been nominated for Best of in the podcast category. Winners will be announced live tonight. You can watch it all on ustream at this link. http://www.ustream.tv/user/TheGeekieAwards The red carpet coverage starts at 5:30pm PST and the show itself starts at 7:30pm PST. Oh man! That was such an awesome speech and it was amazing to see Kyle give the fans a shout out. Thanks to all the podcast hosts, past and present, for creating such a great community - much appreciated! And just so you know, we crazy geeky Londoners - Teddard, Jed O White Hart, Erinyes and I, are meeting tonight to represent House Manwoody in a GOT pub quiz. We'll definitely be having a celebratory pint in your honour, good sers and ladies.

I can't keep it up indefinitely as it's quite a big file but I'll try and leave it up for a couple of weeks to let anyone who missed it first time to download and record, then it disappears into the ether :p
