I'm probably going to meet Charlie the Heir at the palace tomorrow (just thought I'd drop that in) , but I'm still more excited about APOIAF winning the geekie, and GRRM listening to the podcast (and possibly to my bawdy[thanx Jess] songs ) Get in !

Congrats guys! Just saw this on GRRMs Not a Blog. I had a jolt of happiness for you guys. Made me really proud that you're getting some real recognition. I also feel weird/honored that George listens to the same dirty ASOIAF jokes and crazy theories as we do...at least some of them since he listens from time to time.

Apparently he wanted to meet some of the customers who buy the stuff , so waitrose randomly selected us from the loyalty card scheme. Had a splendid time quaffing copious amounts of champagne and scoffing tiny tasty titbits being brought round on trays. Very nice fellow , very chunky fingers, which fascinated me for some reason.........It was like shaking hands with an Irish navvy, tho the skin wasn't as rough , natch. Managed to sneak some pix , but there was an official photographer and you can buy pictures from them, so if there are any good ones i'll try to post them. Had a great day , but as I said before , I'm more excited to know that GRRM listens .I'm really pleased for the guys after all their hard work over the years, brilliant

(or listens to our podcast like his mother)
