kyle and i are going to meet IRL in less than a month, i'm so excited! i am going to san diego at the beginning of october for a professional conference and spending my birthday weekend there. i assume kyle is going to get me something fancy for my 26th.
to the podcast listener who said he'd pay for a plane ticket if kyle and i would "just get it over with," no need to break out that wallet now!

man, we had 5 people staying in one hotel room saturday to sunday, so something as simple as changing clothes was like a goddamn act of congress. when kyle showed up at the hotel, my friends and i had just gotten back from the beach so everyone was desperate to shower and put on something sand-free. i got as far as putting on a bathrobe after my shower, and the bathroom was hijacked before i could change.
kind of depressed that our first meeting involved me looking like a goddamn marshmallow in a hyatt robe, but i'll live~
