To whet your appetite here's the strawberry lemon sweet from Inn at the Crossroads as featured in a GOT scene with the Queen of Thorns. The strawberry taste really comes through once it's chilled for a few hours. Would definitely work well with a splash of iced vodka!

I was too traumatised by preparing the kidneys to enjoy it. Gonna go for rack of lamb instead I think.

I feel for you, Neil brought home a beef liver for Rhaegar, our kitchen looked like a set piece from Hannibal (which he made into a cake thing and has forever traumatised me as well as possibly putting me off brownies indefinitely, but I digress)
