Cosmia sounds eerily like Lizzy Caplan.

I love her! I consider this a great compliment.

The Littlefinger sex scene drove off NOBODY. Sex on HBO is going to drive off viewers?

Also, record more often! I’m tweaking here…

That sceene was so utterly rubbish! It makes it really akward to watch that episode with other people.

I’m all for sex and violence, but quota-meeting just seems to take away the shine for me.
Hopefully they’ll trust the audience more this coming season!
Also, so glad you guys are recording again! It’s so nice to know I’m not the only one giggling like the 13 year old boy when I read these books.

I give thanks to the three of you for doing a show for your loyal fan base. I also give thanks for mentioning me in it and answering my “where do you sit” question.
I would also like to cast my vote for fewer people if that means we can get more episodes. Every one of us (at least I hope) understand that you all have real lives can can’t always be around.
I also think it’s a much easier to stay on topic when there are fewer people on the show. I do miss Mimi though, but I think that’s because she has been gone a lot recently.
Thanks again everyone for an awesome show you do once every year. =D

P.S. Earth Kingdom is based on China and Fire Nation is based on Japan. Not to nitpick, but we Asians hate it when people can’t tell the difference.
Avatar rules!

are you sure it’s not Korea? i could’ve sworn they said that on the dvd extra’s

Earth Kingdom’s king and capital are definitely Chinese. However, there are characters like Song and some of the military that are closer to Korean. Perhaps we could just view the Earth Kingdom continent as mainland east Asia, since it is the largest and there are multiple rulers anyway (not just the Earth King).

Great episode–with the S2 getting ready to kick off in 50 days I’ve been eager to hear your opinions again–too bad you won’t finish the reread.
Is Mimi and Kyle still around? They were hilarious in their reviews of S1 and it would really suck if they are not around.

We are still around. Football season is all done so I’ll be around more often.
Losing at fantasy football apparently takes up a lot of time…

Again a good solid episode from this podcast.
I think you guys should definitely get in touch with that mail that you got from the creators of the rpg game of thrones. It would be interesting to hear what they have to say about the story line and what kind of game play system they have bulked the game with.
Anyways i hope you guys start pod-casting more frequently and invite more guest hosts.
I also hope the rest of the crew will start pod casting again as well(Mimi, Kyle and Nancy!).

Great job guys, even with the limited crew.
Just want to comment on an issue you brought up in the Arya chapter – yeah, sure Yoren could have taken a ship but a lot of these mistakes are easy to identify in hindsight.
He was still pretty cautious, but overall he relied on the fact that he never expected anyone, on either side, would ever attack and kill the Night’s Watch. And he had a 1000 years of history to back him up on that.
Its the same thing as the Red Wedding – yeah, sure should Robb and Co. have hung up their weapons and been partying it up ? Evidently not. But once guest right was given, it never even occurred to anyone – ANYONE – that the Freys would turn on them.

BTW, the term Cosmia was trying to remember in relation to Avatar’s movie character selection was “racebending” – http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/events/racebending-the-last-airbender-casting-controversy
