Episode 51: Cripples, Bastards And Broken Things
Episode 51 for the week of May 8th, in which APOIAF fucked up royally and lost our actual attempt at a Game of Thrones episode recap (read: didn’t actually record it). Therefore, we are rolling out Late Night with Mimi & Kyle as a stand-in for our “Cripples, Bastards And Broken Things” review. And don’t be confused when the intro says “episode 69.” That’s just Mimi being dumb and not even remotely sexy.

I’m really enjoying your podcast (I even wrote a short review for it on the Israeli iTunes. not that I think anyone is going to see that.
but please try and get these out a bit sooner, it sucks listening to the episode recap/review 5 days after watching it.
I really think Sam was completely off character in that sex talk with Jon, wasn’t he afraid of girls (in the romance/sex sense) in the books?

Kit Harington isn’t just a good actor, he’s an AMAZING actor. I saw him in Warhorse in the National Theatre and he was sooooo amazing!
But I do have to agree that he doesn’t fit Jon Snow all that well (in my mind), maybe mainly because I love Kit Harington and I hate Jon Snow.
And I think Kyle should audition for Shae ; )

I hate to sound like a total troll, but the focus on trivialities is ridiculous and brings this whole podcast down. Honestly, no one wants to listen to people complain about the color of Robert’s hair and the attendance of the tournament. Those are menial concerns and it brings down the entire show when they’re debated. A bit more focus to your epsiodes would really help. Having a guest (a particularly great guest) helps a ton.
I’m 45 minutes into the episode, and you’ve spent about 10 minutes talking about the plot.
