Episode 85 for the week of July 22nd, in which we continue our traditional chapter re-read of A Clash of Kings. In this episode, we cover chapter 16 (Tyrion III). We also cover some “recent” ASOIAF news, rant about Game of Thrones, fake low voices, and ship Tywin/Eddard.

I swear that Sandor’s friend shows up latter in the episode wearing Kingsguard armor and giving Cersei an update on the battle. I think he is Osmund Kettleblack.
Don’t rip the name Griffin! It is a solid Irish name. The heir to my House (my godson) is named Griffin, though we just call him Fin.
Anyway great show all!

Nice with a old school reread. But unless you mabe up the ante to two chapters one of you may end up getting hit by a car before you can finish it… Its a solid 255 chapters left to the end of aDwD. Probably 150 more to the end of the series (unless GRRM gets hit by a car first…)

My 7 year old son’s name is Sam. My wife said I could name him Samwise or Samwell as long as we could call him Sam. I could not do that to anyone so his name is Samuel Jon without an H!
