I really enjoyed this.
I don’t know how many people would be interested in it but I’d love for Jason and Amin to do a real deep dive on either the base game or one of the expansions.
Go over openings, discuss the House cards in detail, explore potential end game strategies for each House etc.

Always good to hear from Jason Walden. Even though I’m not a board gamer, he clearly knows and loves the world very well.

Euron=Euron
Euron has not been going anywhere special. Just the usual route. Follow the Corsair King. Oh and he is no Dario neither.
Also, there are no towns in the Dothrakhi Sea. They consider settlements as abominations. Read WoIaF

Yeah we said it was partly Dothraki in that area (in book answer) but speculated the overall sparseness that still exists is due to an avoidance of having to fill out or commit to areas when not needed.

Amin: “But what if you’re spoiled by a well-constructed tweet, rather than a poorly written show?”
BEST. REPLY. EVER. 🙂
This is one of the reasons why I’m not going to be watching season 6. (Though the main reason is, well, why put myself through it, since it’s likely to be as awful as season 5?)

The point in this list is NOT to represent any specific moment in the books, but instead give each house the most access to unique and interesting habilities gameplay wise, as well as a good representation of the more iconic characters (some, like qyburn for lannister and rose bolton for stark, were left out for balance reasons).
Yes, some houses will get stronger or weaker by this, but that’s just a different experience than the dance scenario where that already happened (and to be truthfull, at the base game as well, but to a lesser extent).
With this list each house has 8 cards instead of 7, so when you play your second to last one, you get all the other 6 back.

As for the base game Lannister X Greyjoy, the problem is: Greyjoy has a bet to make. He can start being agressive towards Lannister, and then if it happens to come a muster card, he’s in a VERRY strong position. If not, Lannister will take back what he lost, and neighter of then are going to win…
But in a game of 6 players, if you have a 1/3 chance of gaining a huge advantage, you take that bet and hope for the best. That makes greyjoy the strongest house in my opinion, as they have a bigger chance of winning then the others before the game starts.

Thanks for your comment, we always appreciate getting feedback or comments resulting from our episodes, particularly older ones. We should be having Jason on again later this year with the release of the new expansion.
