Upcoming Holiday Episode
Believe it or not, we are planning to break our hiatus, and record an episode in mid December. We need your ideas for discussion topics, as well as comments and questions that we will respond to during the episode. Email them in to us: audio comments are best and will be played during the show, but we’ll take the usual text comments as well. Let us know how we’ve touched your lives and/or offended your ears.
We will be back to our regular podcasting schedule with a vengeance once the HBO series comes out in spring, but if you want us to start podcasting regularly before then we need your feedback.

Hooray! Just wanted you to know you’ve got a listener here from the Philippines. With the upcoming series and updates on it, you already have tons of material to talk about.

then ten minute trailer on hbo tonight, alone, is probably enough material for at least three hours of my incessant wailing excitement. when the show comes out i’m probably going to pass out from the nonstop talking.

YES!
So great to have the podcast back.
I wish that you would continue with the chapter by chapter discussion. You have three more books to go through. I think you’ll find tons to discuss if you go through COK, ASOS and AFFC. So far you have kinda talked about the biggest arcs and moments and plotlines, but there’s so much more in the books.

Hi, I’m a listener from the land of Wester… err… England. I’ve only recently discovered your podcasts and I’m currently working my way through them all, they are great to listen to, insightful and funny. They also make me realise how much stuff I missed in “A Game of Thrones”, so I think I’m due for a re-read myself! Glad to hear you’re coming back with more.

You can always talk about how the characters look in the HBO series. Most publicity pictures and teaser trailers have been released by now.
For example, you could always bring up Jon Snow’s ridiculous mustache, Sandor’s burns which look like a mild skin disease, Gregor and his balding head. Those are just the funny-looking characters I can remember off the top of my head.
You could also browse the westeros.org forums to see what people want to see in the upcoming series. There’s all sorts of weird opinions there. On the subforum about the TV show, there’s one strange and very persistent fan who wants to see Lancel and Cersei having sex. He really, really wants them to fuck doggy-style onscreen and he’s apparently started lobbying the Lancel actor.
You could easily make a joke out of that. The potential comedy material is endless.
BTW, keep up the good work!

Hey, there. Just a little more cheering from Denmark this time, been listening to your podcast, I’m only halfway through, but I’ll bet you that I’m up to date before you get another podcast out. I’m looking forward to it hearing your thoughts on the trailers and the behind the scene clips from http://www.makinggameofthrones.com/
Mimi you’re so freaky and sounds so sexy 😉

Hey!
Just a format idea for when the tv show starts. The format used by Mo Ryan from TVsquad, called ‘Orientation: Ryan Station,’ for the last season of LOST was really enjoyable. Here is link to the first one:

It was great because you could watch the episode at the same time as listening to the podcast, with comments, like a fast turnaround dvd commentary.
Anyhow, my nights are usually free or can be made certainly free with a heads up, would love to join the conversation!
Warm Regards,
Jaycel

We were tossing around the idea of doing live commentary episodes, but there are no firm plans for anything yet.
