Episode 101 for the week of April 1st, in which we review the first episode in the third season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. We also analyze the recent youtube parody video Rage of Thrones.

Episode 100: The Queenmaker

Episode 100, for the week of March 17th, in which we celebrate our podcast’s five year anniversary! We celebrate by playing Kyle’s match that Roy Dotrice voice game and by doing our own epic reading from The Queenmaker chapter in A Feast for Crows, inspired by Vietrose’s cosplay drawing of us. We overcome vibrating microphones, Skype troubles, and scheduling issues to bring you an episode and aftershow truly of House Manwoody proportions.

Notes: The poor audio quality (aka wind tunnel) improves around 16 minutes onward. 

Episode 99: The Mystery Knight

Episode 99 for the week of February 17th, in which we tackle The Mystery Knight, the third short story in the Tales of Dunk and Egg series. We feast on neeps and wild boar while shipping Dunk/Daemon II, examining the feathered coat of arms of House Cockshaw, and appreciating the general badassery of Bloodraven.

Episode 98: Boiled Leather

Episode 98 for the week of February 3rd, in which we are joined by Sean T. Collins and Stefan Sasse of the Boiled Leather Audio Hour. We learn about Ashley’s Frey allergy, wonder where the boars go, discuss Chataya’s tunnel, and analyze Tywin/Shae.  We get into fighting match ups (with an ageist bent) and construct the ideal Council (including Danes, Sean and Stefan) and Kingsguard. We are joined in the after-show by Elio and Linda of Westeros.org.

Episode 97: Ours is the Fury

Episode 97 for the week of January 27th, in which Ashley and Amin are joined by guest host Susan (Ours is the Fury) from Winter is Coming. We talk about recent Game of Thrones season 3 photos and cover chapter 29 (Bran IV) and chapter 30 (Tyrion VII) of A Clash of Kings.

Notes: This is the Brienne/Hyle Hunt video mentioned early on, while this is the forest fan-art. The two conventions we mention in the after-show and some of us will be attending are Days of Ice and Fire and the Ice and Fire convention.

Episode 95: Christmas Filks

Episode 95 for the week of December 16th, in which the four podcast hosts reunite and discover the true meaning of the holiday season. The singing starts at 59 minutes in, with the debut of the Christmas filks that Ashley, Kyle and our podcast listeners have written and recorded.We cover chapter 26 (Tyrion VI) of A Clash of Kings and are joined briefly by Jed o’white hart, one of our bannermen from across the pond and a major contributor, both lyrics and singing wise, to the Christmas filks project.

Episode 94: Iron Outlines

Episode 94 for the week of December 16th, in which we are joined by Jessica, the podcast art manager. We talk about the APOIAF’s drawing projects and cover chapter 24 (Jon III) and chapter 25 (Theon II) of A Clash of Kings.

Episode 93: APOIAF History

Episode 93 for the week of December 9th, in which we are joined by podcast historian Brynden from our forums. We talk about the history and statistics of APOIAF and cover chapter 23 (Catelyn II) of A Clash of Kings. We are joined midway through the episode by Dickon Manwoody, one of our top artists.

Episode 92: FFG A Game of Thrones Board Game Interview

Episode 92  for the week of December 2nd, in which we interview Jason Walden (Game Producer) from Fantasy Flight Games (FFG). We talk about FFG’s A Game of Thrones: The Board Game, 2nd edition. We ask Jason a variety of questions suggested by our listeners and learn about some other FFG titles, including the A Dance with Dragons Variant, the A Game of Thrones Card Game, and the Battles of Westeros. We also cover chapter 22 (Bran III) of A Clash of Kings. Note that Mimi joined the call about 30 minutes in.
